Lifelong Learning Activities for Non-Mapuans
Opportunities for lifelong learning are provided by Mapua University through various outreach activities. These are offered for free by the Office for Social Orientation and Community Involvement Programs (SOCIP); and the Center for Continuing Education and Special Competencies (CCESC). Lifelong learning activities are done through the following means: (1) The University opens its facilities to conduct in-house trainings and lectures which are conducted by competent Facilitators from the pool of Faculty with respect to fields of expertise; (2) Onsite community trainings and lectures are done where volunteer Faculty and materials are brought to the community; and (3) Online trainings and lectures are scheduled for real-time activity which can be accessed regardless of geographic location. Moreover, it follows guidelines that lifelong learning activities provides access to all, regardless of ethnicity, religion, age, disability, immigration status, socio-economic status, sexual orientation or gender.
