Alternative Learning Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ALEAP)

Since its implementation by SOCIP in 2005, ALEAP, which started as an onsite community-based education activity for out-of-school youths and adults, has more than 100 out-of-school youths and adults who were accredited by the Department of Education (DepEd). DepEd accreditation means that the ALEAP passers successfully completed and passed secondary education.

Adhering to the University's commitment to make education accessible to all, regardless of ethnicity, religion, age, disability, immigration status, socio-economic status, sexual orientation or gender, ALEAP sessions are now delivered face-to-face or online. Face-to-face delivery allows ALEAP learners to experience university life in the campus, while online delivery addresses time, geographic, and personal impediments.
