Education in the Community
The University’s outreach activities include among others the conduct of general education, consultations, upskilling and capacity-building to community officials who crafts policies and ordinances on relevant topics including economics, law, technology, migration and displacement, and climate change. Such outreach activities are done either virtually or on-site which are customized to address specific concerns of the different partner communities.
Outreach Activities:
For the Office for Social Orientation and Community Involvement Programs (SOCIP) which handles the outreach activities of the university, venues for neutral platforms are done virtuality and face-to-face via the annual community conference which had been a tradition for many years.
